@animanachronism-you should watch baccano just because its baccano, but if you come back and read my review or Bateszi’ s excellent review of it. you should want to watch it. although i more than understanf about limited time

Doujin Work was damn funny, which is good enough for me. The promise of Kantianism being applied to anime is almost enough to make me watch Baccano, but my time is sadly limited.

@0rion yeah I know what you’re saying about doujin work, but i liked the fact that after a hard day of schooling and working i can come home and play an episode of doujin work and not think at all. Whether thats a good or bad thing you decide.

Gotta agree with you overall, with the only real exception being Doujin Work. Talk about a show that went down the drain fast. It wasn’t true to the original, and the new direction they tried to take the series really just flopped (IMO).

I can only agree with a lot of this list, though I’m somewhat limited when it comes to things like Potemayo and Lucky Star. I’m not especially fond of “moe” anime, so would you say it’s actually worth my time to bother with something like Lucky Star? I’ve always liked Genshiken, and I’m aware Lucky Star has its fair share of otaku comedy, but it looks a little too… cute?

Also, nice one on spotlighting Naruto Shippuuden too. The only reason it wasn’t in my list is because it’s still on-going, but it’s great to see it returning to former glories. You weren’t the only won amazed by those first scenes in the first episode, and yeah, the return of Orochimaru was awesome too.
